Q. What is MyProgress.com?
A. MyProgress helps you figuring your place in the real world. You cannot even nearly imagine what it's like, no matter how much of the official statistics you have studied. The core feature of MyProgress is its intelligence: smart technologies track every bit of information you enter, whether it would be your new purchase, one more hour of blogging experience, or another cigarette smoked and provide detailed overview on who you are and how fast you are progressing in comparison with other MyProgress customers by age, occupation, location and even gender. Intelligence squeezes an orange out of every piece of information our costomers enter and extrapolates to yours, thus, it can provide you heaps of analytics about your life and build very accurate forecasts. The more information you provide to MyProgress the more analytics and better precisioned forecasts you obtain.

Q. What browser do you recommend to use to get the best experience out of MyProgress.com?
A. We recommend Mozilla Firefox, but Microsoft Internet Explorer might do the good job as well. Note that Opera is not supported by MyProgress at the moment.

Q. May I use your site if JavaScript is disabled in my browser?
A. No, you cannot. MyProgress implements modern interface based on AJAX technology so JavaScript is totally required.

Q. May I use your site if cookies are disabled in my browser?
A. No, you cannot. Cookies are part of our user authentication system.

Q. I found a bug - how can I report about it?
A. You can either send your report via email at info@myprogress.com or use this form.

A. Sign in and click on the 'Account Setup' option in the main menu.

A. We do not support this feature at the moment, but it's in our to-do list.

Q. All information I enter is private - how can I be sure no one can see it?
A. MyProgress.com is governed by our privacy policy. Your personal statistics is used in our internal calculations only and is not subject to disclose to anyone including our staff.

Q. Can I use your website from my handheld PC or other mobile devices?
A. We plan to provide a website interface optimized for mobile browsers and smaller screen resolutions. If you have a Nokia s60 3rd edition mobile device you can use this full-featured website version right away, but we do not think it is convenient to scroll pages vertically and horizontally most of the time.

Q. Why MyProgress is beta and when do you plan for release?
A. We improve MyProgress all the time for better user experience, but we cannot assert that it is perfect enough at the moment for a fully-functional commercial release. We plan to release in 4th quarter 2007.

Q. When do you plan to complete 'Health Status' section?
A. It is planned for the commercial release, preliminarily, 4th quarter 2007.

Q. Do I have to pay for your services?
A. Our services are free during beta-testing period. After the commercial release we will offer a broad range of account types, including free accounts as well.

Q. I'd like to invest in your startup. What are my options?
A. We are looking for investors currently - please contact us at capital@myprogress.com.

Q. How often do ranks and analytics get updated?
A. MyProgress recalculates rankings once a day. Some ranks and analytics require statistics taken over longer periods of time, thus many of them are updated on a monthly basis.

Q. Why doesn't Wealth & Property Summary box refresh when I update my property, like in Personal Finance section?
A. MyProgress implements complex multicurrency algorithms in Wealth & Property section so users could have their property priced in various currencies. As currency exchange rates are updated once a day, the ranks and the summary in Wealth & Property section refresh accordingly.

Q. I'm younger than 12 - can I register?
A. No. Only 12 years old or older may register.

Q. Can I have multiple MyProgress accounts?
A. No. All similar accounts will be banned.

Q. Can my family use a single account?
A. MyProgress is designed to serve as a personal (per person) progress management tool, not a family service. We do not support family accounts at the moment.

Q. I use MS Money™/Intuit Quicken™ for accounting my personal finance and I prefer to stay with it. At the same time I'd like to get ranks and analytics from MyProgress.com. Do I have an option to sync my personal finance software with MyProgress?
A. If you used other personal finance software in past (or use regularly) - just keep using it, especially if you deal with its fancy online banking features. We plan to provide a financial data file import facility, so you will still be ranked at MyProgress.com because it doesn't actually need you to use its personal finance section to provide rankings and analysis - it needs your statistics. All you are going to have to do is to export your financial data into .QIF or .OFX files (which most desktop personal finance software supports) regularly, and import your files into your MyProgress account.

Q. How do I edit items in Wealth & Property section?
A. Simply click on the property item name you would like to edit.

Q. How can I cancel my account?
A. We do not support this feature at the moment, but it's in our to-do list.

Q. I try to sign in but MyProgress says my account is not activated.
A. Please check your email inbox for the message entitled 'MyProgress Account activation'. If you cannot find it try checking your spam box. You are required to click an activation link which is included in that message to activate your MyProgress account.

A. If you cannot find your activation email try checking your spam box. If you still haven't found it please report us about it at info@myprogress.com.

A. This is normal - it usually means that there is not enough statistics for that particular item. Keep patience and collect your statistics thoroughly.
